Upon graduation from Wapakoneta High School in 1990 and Bowling Green State University in 1994, Mr. Biederman spent his first year of teaching in the Vanlue Local School District (east of Findlay, OH), where he was the music director, grades K-12. The next two years, he served as Director of Bands at Hopewell-Loudon High School in Bascom, OH. In 1997, he began work on his Master’s in Music Education at CCM in Cincinnati, OH.
Mr. Biederman is beginning his tenth year of teaching in the Forest Hills School District. The first two were spent at the newly-constructed Nagel Middle School. Mr. Biederman is faculty adviser to two of the greatest Booster groups in the district: FHIMA (Forest Hills Instrumental Association) and the Anderson Band Boosters. He is also an active member of the Ohio Music Educators Association as well as an active tubist in the Cincinnati area. Ask him about the magic of TubaChristmas!
In his spare time, Mr. Biederman enjoys long walks in the park with his family: Wife Wendy, sons Noah and Elijah, and dog Hazel! Spare time is spent reading, enjoying great music, Disc golfing, and watching Football or Hockey (depending on the season). He also is a Barbeque fanatic (regardless of the season).
